David Lewis
Pastor
David, and his wife, Susie, have been serving Woodbine Baptist Church for 24 years now. David and Susie have 5 children and 12 grandchildren, with the 13th on the way. They are both longtime Northwest Florida residents. David served his country in the United States Air Force before surrendering to the call of ministry over 27 years ago. David completed his undergraduate studies at the Baptist College of Florida and later graduated with a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. David takes the role of shepherding, teaching, and caring for his church as a lifetime calling and commitment to the Lord. He also desires to see people become the person God has made them to be and to fulfill the ministry he calls them to do.
Logan Taylor
Ministerial Associate Pastor and Young Adults
Logan has been married to Conlan since September 2023. He is a recent graduate of the University of West Florida with a Business degree. He is currently in the process of pursue a Master’s of Divinity and helps with a number of different pastoral roles at Woodbine Baptist. Both he and Conlan feel blessed with the opportunity of leading young adults through a weekly time of sharing the Word and worshiping our Savior Jesus on Friday nights. Where they seek to help young people grow in their personal walk and obedience to Christ.
Taryn Kirkland
Children's Director
Taryn, and her husband, Matthew, have four children: McKenzie, Zoey, Emerson, & Caroline. Taryn & Matthew moved to Pace (Matthew’s hometown) in February 2013. They have attended Woodbine Baptist since. Taryn has volunteered in the Children’s department for many years & became the Children’s co-director in June 2019. In 2023, she became the sole children's director, and provides leadership to this department and other areas in the church. She feels blessed to be able to connect with kids and their families, as well as be able to share with them the love of Jesus!
Takoda Ruble
Associate Pastor of Youth and Education
Takoda and his wife, Mikiah, have been married since June of 2019. Takoda has been in vocational ministry for seven years; three while he was attending college in Oklahoma, and four here in Florida. He graduated From Oklahoma Baptist University in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in Christian studies with an emphasis on student ministry, and also a business degree with an emphasis on digital marketing. Takoda and Mikiah moved to the Pace area in 2019 and have loved the community ever since. Takoda and Mikiah have a passion for seeing students come to know the Lord and seeing them grow in their walk with Him.
